IREWOC took part in the Millenniumakkoorden meeting in Kenya for the project "Fighting Violence to Ensure Education for All". [Read the meeting report here] The Millenniumakkoorden refers to the group of individuals, organisations, government, and companies who have set particular agreements towards the succesful attainment of the Millennium Goals.

IREWOC researchers Afke de Groot and Anna Ensing are currently working on the "Worst Forms of Child Labour Project in Asia". This project will be completed at the end of 2009. Research results will be presented to policy makers at the beginning of 2010 at our new location: the Child Rights Home in Leiden. Read more about this project on our current research page.

IREWOC researcher Talinay Strehl is currently in Peru conducting research for the "Street Children Project". Read more about this project on our current research page. We are hoping to expand this project into more countries. Parties interested in collaborating should contact us on info@irewoc.nl
