The latest report to be published is by Afke de Groot. Afke conducted research in Nepal, where she studied working children in a number of sectors, including brick kilns, porting, and hospitality. An Examination of Education in Pakistan", Stephen Lyon and Iain Edgar (eds) on the Oxford University Press website>>> IREWOC's newest publication is its summary account of the project The Worst Forms of Asia. The report presents the main findings from Bangladesh and Nepal, where IREWOC researchers Anna Ensing and Afke de Groot studied children's involvement in various sectors such as home-based industries, leather production, markets, brick kilns, restaurants and garment factories. Nanna Baum studied domestic workers in Dhaka and additional data is also presented by Mariette de Graaf, who studied the working conditions of the children in Dhaka's leather sector from an occupational hygiene point of view.
