The Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee (BRAC) has several schools, also in Hazaribagh, designed for poor children. Recently, non-formal education classes for working children have been set up by a cooperation of government and NGOs. However, a BRAC school in Hazaribagh did not encourage working children to enrol, because they are expected to become dropouts.
